Today I’m reviewing my current favorite red wine, the Juggernaut Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon. I first discovered it last year, and it quickly became my go-to red. I love it so much I usually keep one or two bottles on hand, ready for whenever the mood strikes or when I friend drops by for some patio pimpin. Before we get into the tasting notes, here’s my rating system:
Wine Overview
Name: Juggernaut Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery: Bogle Family Vineyards
Region: California
Vintage: 2022
Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Price Range: $19.99
First Pour Impressions
In the glass, it’s a deep, opaque, ruby color. It carries a beautiful nose delivering ripe dark fruit notes of blueberry, fig, dark cherry. Juicy and lush, setting the stage for the initial tasting.
Tasting Notes
Medium-bodied with smooth, approachable tannins. The flavors lean richer and more grounded than the nose suggests, with a round, mature character that feels well-balanced. The finish is soft, making it easy to sip and enjoy without food.
Final Sip & Rating
This bottle has earned a permanent spot on my shelf, it’s my ride-or-die red. It’s a solid dinner wine, but where it really shines for me is as a nightcap. Just me, this Cabernet, and the sunset. Simple, easy, perfect. It’s my little ritual, and it never misses.
Rating- 5 Glasses- Frequent Pour
