The Sweetest Goodbye
The Sweetest Goodbye is my original cocktail inspired by the Honey Deuce, the official drink of the US Open. With vodka, and a playful twist of watermelon and a touch of elderflower, this refreshing recipe brings the spirit of summer and the matches home...even if you're not in New York.
Equipment
- Ice
- Collins or Pint Glass
Ingredients
- 1 oz Reduced watermelon juice
- ½ oz St. Germain
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Lime juice
- Honey Dew melon juice ice cube (Ice some fresh honey dew melon juice)
- 4 oz Sparkling lemonade
Instructions
- Add in honey dew melow juice cubes to glass
- Add in watermelon juice, vodka, lime juice
- Top off with sparkling lemonade

Notes
For this cocktail, I wanted to have the honey dew be more than just a garnish, hence the honey dew juice ice cube. Also, I couldn't help but throw in a piece of fresh watermelon.
